Due to unprecedented demand, Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap will continue its record-breaking UK tour with new dates in 2016, returning to the Liverpool Empire in April next year.
The beloved murder mystery will begin the 2016 leg of its tour at Brighton Theatre Royal on Monday January 25 before visiting more than 25 further venues across the UK. Casting will be announced in due course.
Tickets for performances at the Liverpool Empire are on sale to ATG Theatre Card members from July 10 2015 and go on general sale on Monday July 13 2015. The last time The Mousetrap played the Liverpool Empire, every performance was sold out. The production is returning for a very limited run, so early booking is recommended.
The production, which originally opened in 1952 starring the late Richard Attenborough and his wife Sheila Sim, will continue its journey across the breadth of the country, visiting towns and cities such as Brighton, Reading, Darlington, Grimsby, York, Portsmouth, Cheltenham, Stoke, Woking, Leicester, Liverpool, Harrogate, Shrewsbury, Dartford, Yeovil, Hereford, Derby, Kings Lynn, Salisbury, Manchester, Aylesbury, Torquay, Llandudno, Jersey and Bristol.
